Life 2011: Week 31

We spent a long time out on the porch today watching the funny thunderstorms! We saw lightning and listened to the rain go. The little storms would only last about 15 minutes, but there was sure a lot of rain in that time!

Dentist appointments today! The kiddos got their teeth cleaned and some extra flouride. Beth has had her first loose tooth for awhile (on the bottom), but it wasn't coming out, so the Dentist pulled it out at the appointment. Its a good thing, because the permanent tooth is already coming behind it. Beth was very excited to have the tooth fairy come! We also discovered that she has 3 other loose tooth - all the front ones, so we can see her having no front teeth pretty soon!

We finally got in for Beth's 6 year old well-checkup. We love our Doctor - he's so fun and so through! Beth is doing great!

Our #22 Family Fun Activity was going to the new Winnie the Pooh movie! It was really short, but we had a great time. It was fun having Joey home earlier tonight so we could go together.

It has just been raining on and off all week. We have enjoyed watching the rain and talking about the weather on the porch. We even went out and got a little drenched today!

Joey and his brother did a bit of yard clean-up today and it looks really great. Our lawn has suffered quite a bit this summer since our sprinklers were having troubles. We finally got it working again and some weeds got pulled. We still have some weeds to pull by the tree and maybe plant a little grass, but it looks good!

I love the rain! It's been a fun week with all the moisture that we have been getting. Unfortunately, it dries up pretty quick and its been a bit muggy in our house. I'm already looking forward to the Fall. Tonight's Family Movie Night was a Herbie movie. The kids loved it! I wasn't feeling too well and actually took a nap through it, but that was great too!
