High/Low - November 1st + Freebie

So I decided to postpone my normal Friday posting until today - since it is Digital Scrapbooking Day! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

My LOW for the week is that we are dealing with flooding and broken pipes! Yep 2 broken pipes this week. Hopefully my hubby and his friend can get it fixed today - but some of the floor in the kids bedroom is completely gone. Such a pain in the neck. Oh well, I guess that is life.

My HIGH for the week is Halloween. I've never really been much of a Halloween person, but my kids were so excited this year that they really made it fun. Beth was up 3 times during the night before and she kept asking "Is it Halloween yet?" Too cute. JJ is in a definite super hero stage and his favorite is Spiderman so of course that is what he got to be. And my daughter is in the typical princess stage that I never see her growing out of. So she was Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. We got up early to get JJ off to school and both kids got to be in their costumes all day. After taking my hubby to work - we needed to do something since Beth was just so anxious - so we went to Maceys for awhile - they had little trick-or-treat stations at each department and free Pumpkin Cookies and hot Chocolate. So that was fun. Then we went home and had lunch and a couple of hours later we went and got JJ and went to Novell (my hubby's work) for their family party. The kids got to go trick-or-treating to all the employees' desks and they filled their pumpkin buckets completely full! I love it because they get to go trick or treating - be with Dad - and we don't have to go out at night to people's houses that we don't know. :) We've done this 2 years in a row and it's great. So Joey got to come home with us after the trick or treating. He and our friend Pete played raquetball for a little while while I made homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and we had it in Bread Bowls. So all in all it was a great day!

Here's my cute kids:

Don't forget about my DSD Sales and the treasure hunt and everything (details in 2 postings down)! Check out my freebie for today and have a great weekend!
