I'm excited about Studio 5's MOTHERHOOD MATTERS campaign! It is a 10-day challenge and I hope you will head on over and check it out!
Today's challenge:
Express thanks to your mother. Give her a call or write a letter, expressing gratitude for her love and influence. If she isn’t living, write her a letter in your journal. And if it’s not your own mother, maybe it’s another woman who mothered you.
To my mom - Thank you for being there throughout my whole life. You were the one who always believed in me, trusted me, encouraged me and helped me become who I am today. You were the one who made me build a testimony of the gospel for myself. You were the one to show me the way. You are always ready to do anything you can to help your children and I thank you for that. Thank you for letting me be okay with myself and for helping me to figure out who I am and who I want to be. Thanks Mom - I love you.
To my "other moms" that helped me growing up (Laraine Rose, Jacque Glover, Lucy Griffiths, Elise Richins, Betty Jo Taylor, Colene Brinkerhoff, Jeanette Esplin, Wanda Heaton & I'm sure a lot more) - Thank you for letting me be a part of your families. Thank you for teaching me right along with your own children. Thank you for sharing yourselves with me and helping me to know what I wanted to be when I "grew up." Thank you for your encouragement, your trust, your love, and for just being there when I needed you. So many wonderful memories from being in your homes and/or just times with you. I really appreciate and love that I can say that I'm from Orderville and that I was able to be a very small part in your lives, even for that small moment. Thank you all!
