I Remember...

I borrowed this photo from Royanna's blog - hope you don't mind!

I don't really have the words to express how I feel about this day. 8 years ago, I was pregnant with my first baby and really sick. I was laying on the couch and decided to turn on the tv and there it was. Such tragedy. The one thing I do remember is completely LOVING the way our country came together. I hated that we had to have a tragedy to come together that way, but so glad that even if it was only for a little while - that we all came together - it didn't matter who we were, we were Americans and it brought us all together. I hope we don't lose that completely. I hope we all remember not to judge one another - we all have our struggles, our weaknesses, and we do have our strengths. Let's remember that we are all children of our Heavenly Father and we should just love each other for who we are. Let's don't forget the REAL important things in life - our families, our friends, our memories, our religions, and let's live life to the fullest and just do the very best we can every day. That's my hope.

Thank you so much to all those who serve our country. God bless you and God Bless America.

I remember Sept. 11 because I had a very sick cat that was dying. I was busy nursing him & struggling with having him put to sleep. That was so very emotional for me.

Then everything starting happening & I remember watching the TV & thinking this is like an action film. It was so unreal to me.

I didn't personally know anyone killed. My heart goes out to all that did, but for me my sorrow was with my cat.

I agree that we should love people for their souls & appreciate everyone around us.

We should always be grateful for anyone willing to risk their lives for us. Whether that be a solider, fireman or good samaritan.

Thank you to all & may God bless you & yours!
