Passionately Pink Blog Party | DAY 1

Welcome to the Divine Digital Passionately Pink BLOG PARTY! I'm excited to have a couple of days with you! Join me today and tomorrow and don't forget to continue the party and visit the next stop at Royanna's Blog!!!

So what is something that I am passionate about?
I am totally and completely passionate about my designs. I put everything that I have into my design work and I hope that it shows. I am so passionate about it, that many many times everything else gets put in the back burner - the housework, the bills, and sometimes even my family. Yes, I get so involved in what I am designing that I sometimes forget that my REAL focus should be on my children and family. GASP - did I actually admit that? I love my children and my husband and I love spending time with them but I do tend to get too wrapped up in my work and I'm really struggling to find a balance in my life. So design is definitely my PASSION!

PINK
Okay, so pink is NOT my favorite color. I've never really been a girly girl - I have always liked blue and green and darker colors. And mostly I HATED pink. I always swore that I would never dress my daughter in pink. But all that was before my Beth came along. And I have to admit that pink has grown on me a little bit. And yes, my daughter wears pink - CONSTANTLY. She IS that girly-girl. She loves to dress up in pink dresses and wear jewelry and pink shoes. Pink would be Beth's favorite color. For Halloween she is being Aurora (from Sleeping Beauty) - mostly because Aurora has a PINK frilly dress and of course she has the crown to match! And Pink totally fits my little princess - it is HER COLOR! So my pink for the day is my daughter - my Princess Bethie!

Thank you DeDe! This will be cute to use with a picture or two of my nieces.

I have all boys so you don't generally see pink in my house...as I've never been a PINK person...however I have found out that my teenage boys do NOT like PINK! So now I have my own PINK laptop bag, PINK baseball cap, and PINK mini back pack! They're mine all mine! LOL

Thank you, DeDe! This is all lovely -- the bear looks good in pink! Personally, I have to weigh in on the non-pink side, though -- blue and green are my colors!

I swear, we share the same genes! ROFL High Five on detesting pink! ;) As a grown-up now (when did that happen, btw?), I find I really like pink....occasionally. :D But green and purple are still my fave colors. Long live grungy shirts. LOL
