OPINION NEEDED!

Hi everyone,

Many of you know that for the past 5-6 months I have been working on illustrating a children's book called PRINCESS SECRETS. I am very happy to say that on Tuesday of this week, we submitted the finished book to the publishers. Within a couple of weeks we will get a proof and then we can start selling the books! I feel so very privileged to be able to be part of this project and I feel it is a very cute story and of course just am so excited to see my TearZ animals in print!

Part of my compensation in doing this book is that I am able to buy the book at wholesale prices and then sell it here on my blog for the normal price! I'm very excited about this. But I do have a limited amount of funds to purchase books....so I need your help. The book is 8.25"x8.25" and will be available as a paperback and as a hardback. I do not know prices yet, but I was wondering - if you buy the book which version would you rather have. Paperback or Hardback? I'd like to see about how many books I'd like to get and what you would rather have! So please just use the comment form and if you were to buy it which version you would get!

Thanks for your help!

DeDe! That is awesome that it is ready to print! I would love to get a copy, most likely a paperback would be more affordable.

Hi DeDe
I am so excited for you. I would love to buy a hard cover version and knowing that you will autograph it for me makes it extra special. I don't even have little kids anymore. lol
Good Luck with everything.

I would rather have a hard back as long as there isn't a huge amount of difference in price. Sometimes the hardback prices are crazy. LOL! I can't wait to see it.

while it's true that paperbacks are more affordable, i was thinking that since it is for children, hardback might be better. i think i would buy hardback. sorry to be odd man out here.....

Oh, DeDe,

That is so cool that it is ready!! I'm so excited for you! I would buy the hardback because my children are still hard on books, but I would have to buy 2 one for me and one for them!! hehehe

I think I would like the hardback book, but it would depend on the price difference. So glad to see that you've got it published now! Wonderful place for your tearz!!

It is so exciting that your book is finished!! I will buy two, one for each granddaughter. I would prefer to buy the hardback but it will depend on the price. If it is too high I will have to get the paperback. Congrats on this wonderful accomplishment!!!!!!

I would be willing to purchasing either...but hardbacks do tend to hold up better through the years :) Even though I have boys, I can't wait to be able to say I know the person who illustrated this book!

I would say hardback, so that it is more durable. I love hardbacks! Congrats on the project!!! I now it will be a big hit.

How exciting to see all your hard work coming together in the finished book. Congratulations! I would like the hardback too if it's not a huge price difference.

Well, I too would prefer the hardback, probably at least two copies (autographed, of course).
